The popularity of this exclusive piece for Wales is tremendous.
It was worth the long wait at the queue. Collectors from all over the Kingdom
were queuing up two hours before the Event even started, as early as 8:00am. The
weather was just perfect all day.
We would like to thank all who participated in this Welsh
Colourway Event
and made it a GRAND success. Starting from the Collectors, right through to the
PenDelfin
artists Jenny and Marie, Mrs Pauline and Mr Arthur Morley, Roy Gallow
and Pete Vaughan ( PenDelfin Agents) and last but not least our helping hands for
the day; a great team spirit that made the day an Event to remember.
Five special Colourways amongst the 500 made, were bearing the
special BLUE ANCHOR. See blue anchor
design under Sandie's bucket.

Three of the five BLUE ANCHOR
Welsh Colourways were
actually found on the day. Rumour has it that in an auction, one of these five
unique pieces might fetch as much as £700.00!
The lucky Collectors were:

1st BLUE ANCHOR:
Lucky Mrs Sarah Powell from Newport - Gwent, pictured here with Mr and Mrs
Morley and Sales Agent Peter Vaughan.

2nd
BLUE ANCHOR: Mrs Mavis Hill from Birmingham with
happy husband, still in shock. We can't believe it...

3rd BLUE ANCHOR: Ms Rhian Gwilliam from Swansea,
Glamorgan, with proud mum...
